Playground week at SPPS
Last week was playground week at SPPS. There were lots of fun, but important activities going on. The F.A.B. team (Friends Against Bullying team) helped every class to make up their own playground game. They then put all the games into our very own Southwark Park Primary School book of games.
Every class also had a workshop with the Rights Respecting Team in which they created a rights respecting charter for the playground.
We also wrote messages on the playground in chalk. Some children wrote messages about the ways children are kept safe and healthy in the playground; others wrote about the ways they are able to express themselves as they play. There were also messages about how children's education continues in the playground and how we all enjoy our differences.
Finally, we finished the week off with a mannequin challenge celebrating the playground.
