The children will be expected to log on to Purple Mash once a week and write a blog post for the prompt provided. Blog posts are expected to be at least 5 - 10 sentences for KS1 and 10 - 15 sentences for KS2. After posting, children will need to respond to three other blog posts to keep the online conversation going. Please acknowledge people’s comments on your post.
Remember to be a respectful digital citizen and post content that represents you and our school well.

Write a book review for your friends. What is the best book you have read and why? Describe the key parts without giving away the end. Give examples and quotes from the book.
What are your favourite school lunches? What do you like/dislike about the school lunches and why? Can you persuade the school to add your favourite food?
What do you want to be when you get older and why? What steps do you need to take to accomplish your goals? What do you need to get better at?
What are different ways we can protect our earth? What can our school and community do to reduce pollution and waste?
Video games for beginners. What video game are you playing right now? Describe the objective and write instructions on how it is played. Remember that it needs to be age and school appropriate.
