FAB - Friends Against Bullying
On Thursday our FAB group toured the school performing the play that they put together in after school group. The play had two narrators and performers.
The play told the story of Josh, who felt that everyone had something that they were good at, really good at, except him. He compared himself to all his friends and was upset because they could do things that he found difficult easily and quickly. Then his class moved on to gymnastic work in school and Josh discovered that he was good at gymnastics. Not just ordinary good but really, properly, everyone noticed it good.
The FAB group hope that the play will help everyone to know that each person is smart in their own way. They want to stress that you shouldn’t give up on things because you’re not perfect at them.
Some quotes from the FAB group:
“I like the anti-bullying club because we learnt about all the different smarts.”
“We learned a lot during the club.”
“I like how everyone is supporting each other and working together.”
“We are FAB-ulous”
“I love the anti-bullying message.”
