I am writing to inform you that from September 2020 schools in England are required to deliver the government’s new Relationships, Sex, and Health Education.
Relationships education is statutory for all primary pupils; however, parents/carers have the right to opt out of sex education lessons in Year 6. Please note that the teaching of biological changes is part of the required science curriculum for all children.
As part of the implementation, we are requesting parental feedback on the new curriculum. We initially planned to deliver a parent information session regarding the changes, but due to the current circumstances Miss Hogg has kindly recorded a virtual session that you will find below. After reviewing the presentation and accompanied documents, please let us know if you have any comments or questions regarding the new requirements by completing the Google Form provided.
Thank you for taking the time and we look forward to your response.
Andrew Sinko and Emily Hogg
Please check this section daily for COVID-19 updates.
From Monday 23rd March 2020 the school is closed for all children with the exception of those identified through government guidance, until further notice.
Home learning for all year groups will continue to be through Purple Mash or Google Classroom and the expectations for this have been revised and can be accessed here.
