Children will break up for Summer Holiday on Thursday 16th July. They return on Thursday 3rd September.
Dear Parents and Carers
This term has been particularly challenging with the changes in guidance around school attendance and home learning, I am sure you will join me in saying a big thank you to the staff who have worked hard with good humour and dedication to ensure that learning has been meaningful and engaging for children at home and at school. I would like to say how much we have appreciated the support and patience you have shown us throughout this time.
As you know I am retiring this summer and would like to take the opportunity to tell you how much I have enjoyed my time at Southwark Park. It has been a privilege and honour to work with such amazing people (children, staff and parents).
I have missed seeing many of you over the a last few months and am sorry I will not get a chance to say goodbye to many of you but I know the school will continue to improve and grow with Mr Vernalls as leader and wish you all happiness and success in the future.
16th July 2020
As you know, Ms. Pellicci is retiring at the end of this year and we held a special assembly to thank her for all of her support and dedication over the years.
The staff have also created an end of year message for all children and families as we head into the summer holidays. We miss you all and look forward to seeing you in September! Please click here
Finally, we have created class transition books for all children to help support them in their return to school. Please use these to take some time to read and discuss what school will be like in September. Click on your class to view the document.
Have a lovely Summer holiday, see you all in September!
