Message to parents and children

Parents/ Carers with children in Reception, please read the Protocols to parents: Update for classes returning from 02/06/2020

School will be closed for INSET day on Monday 1st June 2020.

21st May 2020

Dear Parents & Carers,

As you are aware, the government are asking schools to begin offering places for Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 from the 1st June 2020 as well as continuing to support the children who have remained in school throughout this period of lockdown.

We asked you to let us know if you would want your children to return this summer.  Thank you to all parents who responded to our message last week, and as stated in that message, it remains your decision to send your child to school at that time.

On the 2nd of June, we would like to invite children from Reception to return to school as well as the Key worker children who have been at school the whole time. If you feel you are a key worker and have not accessed a place but would like to, please contact the school office.

After a two-week period, we would then potentially extend the offer to Year 6 children and then Year 1 but we will contact you again when we have a firm date for this.

There will be more detailed information being put on the website soon and we will send a text to let you know when it is there.

The Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body have the children, staff and parents’ safety as our top priority and this will be uppermost in our minds as we make the required changes to our provision.

Thank you so much for your continued support throughout this time.

Regards

Sylvia Lang - Chair of Governors

Carole Pellicci - Headteacher
